Knitted cloth diaper covers
My sweet little newborn in her knitted diaper soaked. Works like a charm! She had 4 gross blowouts at the hospital in disposable & zero in my home made cloth diapers & covers. Her little onesies can pull down & snap over it easily. Totes Adorbs!

More knitted projects for baby! Frugal and DIY!
I love making and using my own cloth diapers! How cute is this cloth diaper cover!? Aka "wool soaker"...only mine is more frugal than wool...its acryllic. Works just as well, no need to lanolize and no need for special laundering. Can be machine washed and dried! And its hypo allergenic bc some babies are actually allergic to wool/lanolin. Here is the link to the free pattern I used:

It's called Frantic Mama Soaker. It was easy to follow and knitted up very quickly.

Technically, I am 28 weeks today! 3rd Trimester!!! Holy cow! Knitting helps with the nesting urge to rearrange my whole house. So I made these booties.
I could not find a pattern for this online anywhere so I just eyeballed it and came up with my own pattern:
CO 24 sts
k 58 rows
BO 10 sts
Row 1: With CC k remaining 14 sts
P next row
Rows 2-3: With MC k next two rows
Repeat rows 1-3 nine times
Then stitch the bootie together by folding it and cinching tbe top and bottom with yarn and needle. Then stitch the heel of the bootie closed. Voila! Super cute and easy baby booties!

So baby #3 is on the way and I have lots of DIY projects that I would like to complete before baby arrives...next summer...so yeah, I have plenty of time. But to keep myself on track here is my checklist:
- A galaxy ice dye wrap size 3 or 4
- A galaxy ice dye ring sling
- A stretchy wrap (for those sweet little newborn days)
- Lots of knitting and crochet projects!!!
